Vanavond werden tijdens het 45e Film Fest Gent voor de 18e keer de World Soundtrack Awards uitgereikt, een van de belangrijkste internationale prijzen voor filmmuziek. De winnaars vanavond waren Jóhann Jóhannsson, Ramin Djawadi, Kendrick Lamar, Rutger Reinders, Tamar-kali, Laurent Eyquem, Logan Nelson en Philippe Sarde, die de Lifetime Achievement Award in ontvangst nam.
