'Le Faux Soir' official closing film 53rd Film Fest Gent
14 Sep 2026
Faking a newspaper to outwit the Nazis: it sounds like the premise of an outrageous heist, but in occupied Brussels, it actually happened. Film Fest Gent is proud to announce the official closing film: the 53rd edition of the festival will conclude with Le Faux Soir, the latest film by Michaƫl R. Roskam, who pays tribute to one of the boldest acts of Belgian resistance during World War II.
