Visit Film Fest Gent as a group
Planning a group visit
On 19 September 2024, we will announce the festival programme and you can choose among all the film titles as a group. To make the choice easier, the festival will compile sections and tags that divide the films into types (short film, documentary, official selection,...), themes (LGBTI+, focus on Korea,...) or parts of the festival (Official competition,...).
Are you planning a group trip with more than 50 people and do you want to plan the visit well in advance? Please contact tickets@filmfestival.be. We are happy to help you. We can check if a title can be chosen before September 21. In doing so, we take into account the interests of the members and the nature of the group as much as possible and give advice on the choice of the film.
Dive deeper into the film together
Most of the films shown at the festival have at least one screening which we introduce or conclude with a Q&A or a talk with the director or another film guest. In this way, we offer extra context and depth to the film and its development. You will find them in the programme marked with a microphone or with the mention 'GUEST'. During the festival, you can enjoy the Film Fest Talkies, Film Fest Gent's talkshow in the Film Fest Café at Kinepolis, almost every day.
Group rates
Online ticket sales will start on 19 September and from then onwards, you can also visit the Tickets Gent desk. Consult our rates here.
Groups enjoy a discounted rate by using our multiple ticket packs. Multiple ticket packs are not personalized and can therefore be shared in groups. Please note: the packs are not a valid admission ticket, but serve as a voucher for the purchase of tickets. Movie tickets can be booked online or at the box office with the ticket code, until the credit of the pack is used up. Multiple ticket packs cannot be used for the opening film, closing film, concerts, Videodroom or special events.
5-multiple ticket pack: €50 (€10 per ticket, also for performances between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM)
10-multiple ticket pack: €85 (€ 8.5 per ticket, also for performances between 18:00 and 22:00)

Festival locations
The heart of the festival can be found in and around Kinepolis Ghent, where you can watch a lot of films and soak up the atmosphere in our Film Fest Café. Film Fest Gent will also take place at various locations in the city centre, such as Studio Skoop, Sphinx Cinema, Vooruit and KASKcinema.
Film Fest Café
Our renewed Film Fest Café near Kinepolis has been the epicentre of the festival since 2021. Everyone is welcome and we can accommodate groups. Enjoy a snack and a drink and feel how film lovers finally have a place to come together again after difficult years. The Film Fest Café will be more than just a place for food and drink. Many intriguing conversations and events take place there, such as the Film Fest Gent Talkies.
There are also cafés in Sphinx, Studio Skoop and Vooruit where you can enjoy a drink and sometimes small dishes before and after the film (see frequently asked questions at the bottom of the page).
