Film Fest Café

The festival experience does not start and finish in the cinema. Kick off your festival day from 9 a.m. with a coffee & croissant in the cosy Film Fest Café, the perfect location for a break between screenings, spontaneous meetings and a nice chat after the film screenings. During the festival the Film Fest Café on the festival site is the beating heart of Film Fest Gent.

Talkies

Every day of the festival at 12:30, you can enjoy an interesting FFG Talkies, the talk show from Film Fest Gent. Throughout the year, we monthly invite directors, actors or artists for an inspiring talk about film. There are daily Talkies during the festival with a number guests and various hosts.

For its 50th edition, Film Fest Gent, in collaboration with Howest Industrial Product Design students and Ghent design label Volmaakt, had merchandise products developed from used promotional materials. Dated flags, roll-up cloths and old paper experience a second youth.
