Film Fest Gent wants to provide a platform to all kinds of films. Short films and feature films, fiction films and documentaries, brand new high-profile projects and classics that have earned their place in film history, small competition films and big audience pullers. Opposites that complement each other nicely and have their own section of the festival to inhabit.
Tags
Tags give the film a label that helps you frame it, both formally and thematically. Tags do not care about sections and films can have several tags. If you are looking for a documentary, look out for the Docs tag. If you want to be surprised by more experimental cinema, check out the films with the tag On the Edge. In the Masters tag you will find works by great film authors and in the New Voices tag you will discover the newest voices in the film world. The tags Explore Zone and Plus Parcours bring together films for the young and the slightly older film lover respectively.
