Your Covid Safe Visit

Your safety is our priority. We always follow the guidelines enforced by the Belgian government. Our screening rooms are properly ventilated and equipped with a CO₂ monitor. We won't allow more than 500 people per screening. This is why it is not necessary to wear a mask or present a Covid Safe Ticket at Film Fest Ghent. Mind: the measures for our concerts are different.

Film visit

In the most recent press conference, the Belgian government decided that for events inside with less than 500 guests no Covid measures are necessary. To attend Film Fest Ghent you don't need to wear a mask, present a Covid Safe Ticket or social distance. Obviously, wearing a mask is allowed.

Our screenings will never allow more than 500 visitors. FFG staff and volunteers will still be wearing masks.

Concert visit

For our concerts at Opera Ghent - with more than 500 guests - we ask you to present your Covid Safe Ticket. The Covid Safe Ticket is needed to gain access to events where you are not obligated to wear a mask or social distance (once you are inside). Everybody over the age of 12 is obligated to present a valid ID with picture (identity card, passport, driver's license) and a Covid Safe Ticket, either in print or on your smartphone.

You can get a Covid Safe Ticket if you meet one of the following conditions:

  • you are fully vaccinated, and your last vaccination was over 14 days ago

  • you have a recovery certificate of less than six months

  • your PCR test was negative and is valid = the day of the test plus two days

  • your rapid antigen test taken by medically trained personel was negative and is valid = day of the test plus one day

Mind, you cannot get tested at Film Fest Ghent. If you are experiencing covid symptoms, we kindly ask you to stay home.

What measures do we take to guarantee your safety?

We limit the number of attendees in our screening rooms to 500. Our rooms are properly ventilated and equipped with a CO₂ monitor. Film Fest Gent staff and volunteers will wear masks and socially distance. There will be hand sanitiser available at the festival.
