Orphaned in the African jungle, a human baby is found by a gorilla. She names him Tarzan and raises him as her own child. Young Tarzan places his trust and affection in his ape mother, Kala. But Kerchak, the mighty ape leader, fears that Tarzan may one day bring danger to the ape family. Curious and observant, Tarzan grows in strength an agility, mastering the skills that enable him to move through the jungle with ease. Tarzan is determined to prove Kerchak that he’s the best ape ever. His courage and resourcefulness are called upon when he saves Kerchak from the vicious leopard, Sabor. His bravery and respect for Kerchak earn him the ape leaser’s acceptance as part of the family. Finally it seems as if Tarzan fits in with the apes.
