Rue de la samaritaine

The inhabitants of the Brussels "rue de la Samaritaine" are considered as the scum of the capital of Europe. They are outcasts, alcoholics, violent people. At least that's how most of their fellow citizens think of thern. Marie-Jo Jamars documentary however describes them as gentle, warmhearted human beings. Most of them have worked their whole life, now that they are old, they have become useless in our society. This makes them angry and sometimes violent. (rp)
