Of Mice and Men

115' - 1992 - Western, Drama - Dialogue: English
Director: Gary Sinise Composer: Mark Isham With: Gary Sinise, John Malkovich, Ray Walston
Lennie and George are migrant farm workers traveling the roads of California in search of work. They are linked by an enduring friendship. To the problems of the Great Depression are added Lennie's psychological problems: he has the body of a Hercules and the mind of a child, and his childlike candor and uncontrollable impulses have already got them into trouble. Alter a dramatic incident caused by Lennie, they are hired to work on a ranch, where they meet other migrants, Candy and Crooks. But the ranch ownerer's wife seduces Lennie and sets off a string of events that will end in tragedy.
