A mental image of a landscape may be associated with a possibly terrifying reality. On an empty share a raft is almost ready to put out to sea. Someone goes land inwards in search of a missing rope, passing by the ruins of a civilisation. The raft is pushed off and floats out to sea, empty, out of mind.
