The film centers on David, a student of sociology and a typical "child of the revolution", and the gay Diego, who has made an art of decorating his home; of creating a kind of wall of culture with which to counter the social prejudices which surround him. Two apparently irreconcilable characters come together. David - a !oud, naive freshman by nature - is irritated and, at the same time, fascinated by the unfamiliar ideas and the mass of unorthodox art and literature he encounters within Diego's walls. Diego, on the other hand, seeks an adventure and discovers a friend.
