In early August, it was announced that the best-selling game on distribution platform Steam was Baldur's Gate 3, a game set in the world of the popular role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons, developed by the Ghent-based Larian Studios, with music by Borislav Slavov. He also composed the score for Larian Studios' Divinity: Original Sin 2 and for Crysis 2, for which he collaborated with Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer. A selection of his work will be performed by Brussels Philharmonic Conducted by Dirk Brossé at PRESS PLAY: Music in Games.

Award-winning composer Stephanie Economou gives insight into her quickly evolving career and experiences in both the game music and film music industry. Her score for Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarök was awarded the very first Grammy Award for Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media and is considered one of the finest game soundtracks of the past years. Scoring both games and films, she perfectly understands the peculiarities of both artforms and how to use these to her advantage musically. A selection of her work will be performed by Brussels Philharmonic Conducted by Dirk Brossé at PRESS PLAY: Music in Games.
