40 Years Film Fest Gent - A Music Celebration

Music Director Dirk Brossé came up with a brilliant and original idea that also incorporates what makes FFG unique and gives it international prominence: "Why not ask 40 composers who are friends of the festival each to compose one minute of music?" Replies flooded in from top-calibre international and Belgian composers and during this concert the results can finally be heard. 40 Years Film Fest Gent - A Music Celebration is a small gift that we gave ourselves to share with all our friends who have made it possible to celebrate this fortieth anniversary. It is also a tribute to honorary chairman Jacques Dubrulle who put Film Fest Gent on the world map during his three decades as Managing Director. A once-in-a-lifetime concert!
