Deze zaterdag: Videodroom Concert & Slotfeest

This Saturday 17 October things are getting an extra dose of 'Bond.' To mark the 20th anniversary of Casino Royale, a diverse group of Belgian artists will present a unique, idiosyncratic homage to the music of the James Bond film universe. Each of the thirteen participating artists has selected a Bond theme song to cover, ranging from stripped-back piano renditions and unconventional Dutch-language interpretations to gritty electronic takes. Look forward to performances by artists such as Aili & Orson, An Pierlé, David Numwami, Dushime, Gustaph, Helena Casella, Iskander Moon, Johannes is Zijn Naam, maya dhondt, Uma Chine, Youniss, and others.

Casino 'Battle' Royale is a one-of-a-kind soundtrack project minus the film itself. Don't expect a Bond movie on the big screen; instead, prepare for a once-in-a-lifetime musical tribute to the Bond universe.

Following the show, we’ll keep the celebration going with The Bond and the Beautiful, a closing party hosted by Videodroom and Film Fest Gent at the VIERNULVIER café and ballroom. Expect more live performances, DJs embracing the James Bond theme, and, of course, Vesper Martinis. We’ll wrap things up in style with The Bond and the Beautiful: a party entirely dedicated to the cinematic world of everyone’s favorite spy. Let’s make it a truly 'Bond-tastic' evening!
