Resources for victims of harassment or sexual assault

During Film Fest Gent it's possible that some of the films on the programme deal with topics such as sexual assault, sexual violence and rape. Have you seen something or experienced something yourself? Please consult these resources. Do not hesitate to speak to Film Fest Gent staff. Do you need help immediately? Call the emergency hotline 112.

Vlaams Meldpunt voor Grensoverschrijdend Gedrag / Flemish Hotline for Harassment

Have you experienced (sexual) harassment in a sports club, university, theatre company or in another Flemish sector or organisation? Or do you know someone who has experienced this? Are you looking for advice or guidance on steps you can take? Report to the Flemish Hotline for (Sexual) Harassment and our staff will work with you to see how they can help you.

Zorgcentrum na seksueel geweld (UZGent) / Care Centre after sexual violence

Victims of sexual violence, such as rape or sexual assault, can visit the Care Centre after Sexual Violence (ZSG) of Ghent University Hospital day and night. The centre offers victims all possible assistance in one location: medical and psychological care, an initial trace investigation and, for those who want it, help with the police report.
