Function: Selection Committee

Ralph Vandamme is an allround freelancer within the Belgian film industry. For the last three years, he has worked as Assistant Programming & Print Traffic Manager at Film Fest Gent, contributing to the film selection and overseeing the print traffic across hundreds of screenings.

He is currently working as a Production Coordinator at Visualantics for the international documentary feauture Little Monster by Glenn Dumortier. He also serves as a Postproducer at Pandemie Editing Studio, where he oversees project workflows and strategic development. Prior to these roles, Ralph has held a variety of temporary roles in Belgium’s film industry, including Media & Marketing Coordinator at the Benelux distributor Paradiso Films, where he managed communication strategies between press, exhibitors, and production companies. He also worked as Commercial Assistant Film Funding at Lumière Benelux, supporting Tax Shelter investments and transitioning the company to a cloud-based infrastructure. Earlier in his career, Ralph gained experience in production and editorial work with organizations like The Ensor Awards (Filmfestival Oostende), the public broadcaster’s streaming service VRT MAX, and Studio Brussel, where he was selected to co-host the live radio show Studio Dada.

He has been involved in film curation and criticism through volunteer work with Kuleshov, a radio dedicated to cinema, and serves on the pre-selection committee for the Aegean Film Festival. Ralph holds a Master’s degree in Film and Television Studies (magna cum laude) and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science from Ghent University.
