Steve + Sky Best Belgian Film of 2004

Winners Joseph Plateau Awards 2004 announced.

At this year's Joseph Plateau Award Ceremony in the Brussels Mercure Royal Crown hotel, the debut feature by Felix Van Groeningen STEVE + SKY was elected Best Belgian Film 2004. The soundtrack of this film (compiled by Soulwax) also won this film a second award. Frédéric Fonteyne's Gille's Wife (La Femme de Gille - presented a 2004 Venice's Film Fest) also won two awards : for best director and best screenplay. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = 'urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office' />

Belgian actor Benoît Poelvoorde was rewarded for his acting in Aaltra and Podium.

All films released between January 1st and December 31 2004 were eligible for nominations.
