Joseph Gordon-Levitt to attend 40th Film Fest Gent

With the support of A-Film, Film Fest Gent, which will be held from 8 to 19 October this year, is welcoming Joseph Gordon-Levitt to the festival. He will present his film Don Jon on Thursday 17 October at Kinepolis Gent.

Gordon-Levitt is known for his roles in several blockbusters, including Inception (Christopher Nolan), Lincoln (Steven Spielberg) and The Dark Knight Rises (Christopher Nolan). He gained international fame when he played the lead in (500) Days of Summer (Marc Webb), a role which earned him a Golden Globe nomination, as did his role in 50/50 (Jonathan Levine).

It is clear he is a very versatile actor, who has played in several American indie films, including Mysterious Skin and Manic. Film Fest Gent revealed part of its programme last week. It was announced that the latest films by Steven Soderbergh, Joel & Ethan Coen and Roman Polanski will be screened.
