The 21st edition of the Flanders International Film Festival runs from 4 until 15 October 1994. The opening film is Taxandria by Raoul Servais. Robert Zemeckis' Forrest Gump serves as a pre-opener. Eat Drink Man Woman by Ang Lee closes the festival. For the tenth time, the Flanders International Film Festival organises a competition devoted to the impact of music on film.
