Zero Patience is a timely and eccentric musical feature that serves up water ballet, dancing jungle animals and singing burn puppets to explore the politics of AIDS scapegoating. Sir Richard Francis Burton, the 170 year-old Victorian sexologist and explorer, is producing a sensationalistic museum display about patient zero, the French-Canadian flight attendant accused of bringing AIDS to North America. There's only one hitch: the ghost of Patient Zero is back in town and he's determined to stop this misrepresentation of the display.
