Little Luke Is warned of the dangers of accepting anything from women with purple eyes, who wear gloves and hold their noses as children go by, by his knowing grandmother. When his parents die in a car crash, Luke and his grandmother go on holiday in England, where they come across a Convention of the Royal Society of Prevention to Child Abuse. But the assembled members hide some curious habits and Luke discovers to his horror that they are an evil coven of witches. lt is their bastardly plan to rid the country of children by feeding them a potent brew which tums them into mice.
