The Souvenir

Based on the director’s own experience as a young student, ‘The Souvenir’ tells a story of unrequited love and dangerous codependency. 25-year-old Julie, a rich, privileged film student, is living the student life in London. She has a fancy apartment and spends most of her time partying. But somewhere along the line she becomes fascinated by the working class. When Anthony, a well-off, self-centered man, waltzes into her life and calls her out for misplaced interest, her fascination is transferred onto him.
