The Silent Touch (Dotkniecie reki)

Henry Kesdi (Max Von Sydow) is a world-famous composer. Now in his 70s and living in Denmark with his wife Helena (Sarah Miles) his life is a succession of irritating interruptions from admiring fans and greedy music publishers. Yet Henry has not composed a note of music for over 40 years. Stefan Bugajski (Lothaire Bluteau), a young Polish music student, believes the time has come for Kesdi to end his mysterious silence and write again. Lying asleep at night, his dreams are disturbed by a haunting melody which runs again and again in his mind -a melody he is convinced is an unfinished work for Kesdi.
