Swoon is the story of Nathan Leopold Jr and Richard Loeb, two teenaged Jewish intellectuals made famous for the kidnapping and murder of a boy. These brilliant, precocious boys developed a tangled relationship revolving around criminal activities in exchange tor sex. Easily captured by the many clues left behind and by their jumbled alibis, their subsequent trial quickly became international news. Weaving stylized period narrative and archival footage within an experimental narrative, Swoon explores the soci2I, judicia! and psychological surveillance of these two lives.
