There is no glamour in this documentary, but also no morbid sensationalism, just a series of interviews with HIV-positive men and women who articulate their feelings in the face of mortality. The subjects describe, with candor and eloquence how they found out they were infected, how they envisage the future, how their sex lives and daily relationships have been infected... A father learns he was HIV-positive from the blood test for a marriage license. A young man, when diagnosed, calls his adoptive parents and then sets off in search for his biological mother. An HIV-positive mother struggles to find the words to tell her 11-year-old son...
