No disease is glamorous and AIDS is even less glamorous than most others. We all know the hell that is being lived daily by those people who have contracted AIDS. A slow, painful, lingering passage to death. But the disease has other victims as well: the people who, out of necessity or choice, tend to those stricken by the virus. The makers of this film interviewed medical staff in direct contact with HIV positive men and women. From cleaners to the chief consultant, from nurse to priest or researcher. beyond the clichés, they express their views on their differences, their questions and fears about life and death.
