Retrospectief

A retired judge recollects, after thirty years, the court case at which he first met his late wife. In 1958, she was the lawyer of Elfredo, a young Antillean who is accused of raping a girl. The night before the verdict, Elfredo commits suicide. Nobody knows why, as he stood a good chance of being acquitted. Thirty years later, he Is drawn back towards the events surrounding this intriguing suicide case and probes his memory for the missing link...
