Mary ‘Mouse’ Bradford is sent away to an all-girls boarding school by her father and new stepmother, who are blind to her emotional needs. Mouse becomes fast friends with her new roommates, sophisticated Paulie and worldly Tory. Mary soon discovers that Paulie and Tory are more than just friends, and have begun to pursue a passionate physical relationship. One day, Paulie and Tory are caught in a compromising situation and the hell breaks loose. Finding it impossible to justify her actions to her parents, Tory distances herself from Paulie.
