Lise et André

87' - 2000 - Drama, Comedy - Dialogue: Vietnamese, French
Director: Denis Dercourt With: Isabelle Candelier, Michel Duchaussoy, Aïssa Maïga
Lise believes in miracles. She also thinks that, in order to be heard, nothing counts more than the help of a true professional. Also, when it’s a matter of saving her son, she appeals to Father André. But André is an insupportable misanthrope, who doesn’t believe himself. He refuses to help her. Sick of all the arguments, Lise takes André as a hostage. This is the story of a young woman who, as stubborn as desperate, forces a priest to do what he is supposed to do.
