Freddie, a young student and his brother Samuel are stuck on a very busy crossroad. In the distance he picks out a woman in the crowd that he recognizes as being his mother. For about six years he hasn’t seen her. She left one day with the northern sun and nobody ever heard from her again. Recollections of the past are flashing through Freddie’s mind.
