The subversive, the banality of things and false iconography return again in this work. In this video Young lets abuse several time a teddy bear. In a aggressive way it attacks over and over the innocence often pared on childhood. ‘Killing Teddy’ is at the same time a brutal rite of passage as an ultimate defilement of “cute”.
