Despite a relatively happy and stable life, Isabel (Marina Person) feels something is missing: a place to serve the natural wines considered too eccentric at the Michelin-starred restaurant where she works as a sommelier. When she decides to open a wine bar in São Paulo, she throws the doors of change wide open. Though driven by passion, Isabel must also contend with the harsh realities of entrepreneurship in a neighbourhood undergoing dramatic change. We watch Isabel battle forces acting on her from both outside and within. "Life isn't perfect, people aren't perfect, but wine mustn't have flaws." Director Gabe Klinger shot his second fiction feature on 16mm to reflect the artisanal character of natural wine. Natural wine lovers will be treated right through to the end of the credits of Isabel.
