Director: Ang Lee Composer: Mader With: Winston Crao, May Chin, Mitchell Lichtenstein, Ah-Leh Gua, Sihung Lung
Wai Tung has made good in America. He owns an attractive house in Brooklyn where he lives with his friend Simon. There are 10.000 miles between him and his parents in Taiwan, who have been wondering why their son hasn't gotten married yet. Everything' s fine - except that his parents would like to come and visit him. Simon feels sure he's found a solution to the problem when it arises. He asks Wei Wei, a poor artist, to play Wai Tung's bride-to-be. The deal is mutually advantageous, for if Wei Wei marries Wai Tung she'll receive the much sought-after Green Card.
