Between Amsterdam and Brussels, a group of young women navigate the thin line between desire and fear. On the surface they appear assertive and untouchable, testing boundaries and wielding their sexuality with confidence. Yet beneath that bravado, something stirs.

Heaven Will Wait is a hybrid documentary about the tension between sexual autonomy and objectification: the women are aware of the gaze that sexualizes them, yet still long for the validation it offers.

The film follows the constant dance between desire and self-protection, where intimacy can be both a weapon and a wound. At the same time, Heaven Will Wait is an ode to female friendship.
