lf your name is Kemal Kayankaya but you can't speak a word of Turkish and, moreover, you're trying to earn a living as a private detective in Frankfurt then it's no wonder that from time to time you drown your sorrows in drink. More than once Kayankaya is forced, plainfully, to learn that prejudice is often verified by physical argument once he starts work on a case for the Turkish woman Ilter. Ilter asks him to investigate her father's accidental death and to find her missing husband. His investigations are soon successful -but too late. All he finds is a corpse.
