The scene of the story is laid in a tranquil village in some future world, where high technology is integrated with its nostalgic scenery. An old craftsman created a Box from the wood of the 'exhausted' tree, which then becomes an integral part of this tree. The Box is rambling along the old railroad, taking the memories of the people and the events in the village in it. In his quiet life, the old man is worried about the Box, because he has not fulfilled his wish yet. But life in the monotonous and peaceful village gradually changes after the old man's death - tree falls down, the Box breaks. The mourning for the Box however, will open a new prospect. What kind of wish will now be expressed? The quite unique world of this film is depicted in simple and beautiful images. It's an allegory about the peaceful co-existence of high technology and tree, the symbol of nature.
