The Glastonbury Festival is the largest occasion of its kind in the world. It has seen many changes over the years but the spirit behind the Festival remains the same. It's that spirit the
directors have recreated. "Glastonbury the Movie" is a collaboration between artists,
musicians, camerapeople and filmmakers, who have all taken their own routes in their
particular style. The last step was to marry these impressions into a film that tells the story
from a festivalgoer's perspective. Interviews are very much on the fly and there's hardly any
back-stage action. "Glastonbury" is not a documentary any more, it's a document.
