It's been a quarter-century since Jay Ward's animated "George of the Jungle" shorts swung onto TV screens, now he swings onto the big screen. Baby George is displaced from his family during a horrible plane crash in a jungle, but stays alive and is adopted by a wise ape. Life in the jungle is pretty sweet for George. Until his peaceful life is interrupted when he saves the lovely heiress, Ursula from a lion. More importantly, though, he also saves her from her heinous fiancé, Lyle who is an egotistical boor, coming to track Ursula down on her safari to bring her back to San Francisco for their impending nuptials. Suddenly the adventure travels from the jungles of Africa to the jungles of San Francisco…
