THE SEA AND TIME
Madrid, spring 1968. In these confusing times older people disguise their cowardice as disinterest in politics whereas the young see an imminent and radical ch;mge in the events in Paris. In their efforts to keep in step with these trends, they become at times childish or even grotesque. The only thing Jesus, a refugee in Argentina after the Civil War and back in Spain, understands is the language, but that is not enough to enable him to put down roots again. He has the feeling of not being anywhere. In any case, time has changed him into someone from the other side of the sea...
