De laatste sessie

The film is a portrait of jazz innovator Eric Dolphy. The running thread of f1e story-line in the film, which consists of six chapters, a prologue and an epilogue, is formed by the last tour which Dolphy made in his life and which took place in Holland with Dutch musicians. The film reconstructs their last tour on the basis of statements of the various people involved, who brought together after 26 years, in the same radio studio in which, on the last evening of Dolphy's Dutch tour, a session took place.
