Anne Marthe works as a psychologist in the prison of which her husband is director. Because of her cold and distant behaviour, prisoners call her ‘the ice queen’. Mathiaz Jesus Borges, a 21-year-old boy, makes a bet in which he claims to be able to ‘defrost’ her. The main guard, who is eager for power, knows about this relationship but prefers to keep his eyes shut because of personal reasons. With Mathiaz Anne Marthe discovers everything she has lost before. When Mathiaz is finally fired, things are running out of control… or don’t they?
