Closet Land is a taut, unrelenting story of a woman subjected to physical and psychological torture for crimes that remain mysterious. The truth is that she is paying the price for her individuality. The state is interested only in conformity and will go to any length to ensure that she stays in line. The two character, one-set production provides an intimacy and intensity aptly suited to the subject matter.
