Holden McNeill and Banky Edwards are the creators of comic heroes Bluntman and Chronic. One day, they meet another comic illustrator, Alyssa Jones. Holden is enchanted by her and does everything he can to win over the young woman. She reacts somewhat reservedly, to say the least. She prefers the company of women, it seems. However, she has nothing against a purely platonic friendship. For Holden, however, that’s not his thing at all. Even Banky thinks it’s impossible. But Holden can’t get her off his mind. They begin to spend more and more time together and even Alyssa begins to develop feelings for him that she never dreamed were possible…
