Sabine’s family are solid workers. Or at least they were, before the collapse of trade union power caused her father to abandon his principles for a life of moonlighting and scams... Yet in this unpromising soil Sabine has found what she needed to grow. Slowly but surely, she has built up a world of her own. And that world is maths. More than a gift : a passion and a protective bubble too. Sabine is neither rebellious nor indifferent; her force lies in her mathematical intelligence and her strength of purpose: facts and a goal. She may live in a bubble, but she still has her feet on the ground. A meeting occurs. Chance? Perhaps. But what is not chance is what Sabine decides to make of it.
