Bicycleran (The Cyclist)

This film is based on an incident I witnessed when I was ten years old. lt was rumoured that a Pakistani refugee had decided to raise money for flood victims In Pakistan by riding a bicycle non-stop for ten days. We went to see the show in a basketball field. There were few spectators but a small fair was beginning to grow around the field. The man collapsed on the seventh day and then people started collecting charity for the flood victim. I meant The Cyclist in a more realistic vein. (Makhmalbaf)
