Almacita di desolato

The film is based on Caribbean legends on the theme of struggle between creative and destructive spirits, fertility and draught. The action is set on the isle of Curaçao at the turn of the century in an isolated farming community of former slaves: Desolato. Solem is the priestess protecting the community and as a result, she is not to have physical contact with a man. But her desire for physical love provides "evil" (in the person of Alma Sola) with an opportunity to strike.
