Edition 1990
94' - 1989 - Drama - Dialogue: Persian
Director: Amir Naderi With: Majid Nirumand
The inhabitants of the south of Iran are hit by a disastrously dry spell. Their conditions worsens as water becomes scarce and their animals begin to die. As time drags on with no sign of relief in sight, people decide to abandon their villages, desperate to save their lives. A young boy returns to the area only to find that his family has gone. Unaware of what has happened, he begins a search for them. The collective drama of this community is accentuated by the lone protagonists's frantic efforts to locate his missing relatives.
