Director: Diane Kurys Composer: Michael Nyman With: Anne Parillaud, Béatrice Dalle, Patrick Aurignac
Alice and Elsa are talented, pretty and sensible sisters but they are, in spite of their similarities, unable to live together. Alice left a year ago and is now doing fine, preparing her paintings for an exhibition in New York and cherishing the love of her life - Franck. By the time Franck moves in with her, her sister Elsa pops up after having left her husband and kids in search of a new and better life. Initially, all works out fine and the trio have a lot of fun. But gradually, Elsa proves to be jealous of her sister's luck and puts her sister's relationship under high pressure.
