The Belgian audio-visual industry is blossoming more than ever. Numerous talented composers working professionally in the film, television or gaming industry are uniting in the recently founded Belgian Screen Composers Guild, the industry’s representative in the conversation with producers, management associations, film funds and public authorities.
Through ongoing conversations with both established and upcoming composers, the Belgian Screen Composers Guild aims to increase the attention for the importance of scores and the means necessary to produce a soundtrack of quality. The Guild will also provide a platform to exchange information and experiences, be it legal, economical or artistic, between members themselves or others in the industry. Further it aims to support composers on a national and international level.
