On 19 October 2002, the 29th edition of the Ghent Film Festival will draw to a close with the presentation of the second World Soundtrack Awards and the Fenton-Delerue: A Film Music Celebration double concert.
The presentation of the World Soundtrack Awards 2002 will be followed by a film concert. The first part will pay tribute to French film composer Georges Delerue (Jules et Jim, La nuit américaine, Le dernier métro, La femme d'à côté, Vivement dimanche, Dien Pien Phu, Mira), who died ten years ago. Dirk Brossé and Jean-Claude Petit will conduct his work. In the second part, George Fenton will take over the baton to have the National Orchestra of Belgium perform his most romantic music (Dangerous Liaisons, Anna And The King, The Fisher King, You've Got Mail).
