On the 19th of October 2002, composers, musicians and film music professionals gathers in Ghent for the 2nd edition of the World Soundtrack Awards, the prestigious film music prizes of Film Fest Gent.
The presentation of the World Soundtrack Awards 2002 will be followed by a film concert. The first part will pay tribute to French film composer Georges Delerue (Jules et Jim, La nuit américaine, Le dernier métro, La femme d'à côté, Vivement dimanche, Dien Pien Phu, Mira), who died ten years ago. Dirk Brossé and Jean-Claude Petit will conduct his work. In the second part, George Fenton will take over the baton to have the National Orchestra of Belgium perform his most romantic music (Dangerous Liaisons, Anna And The King, The Fisher King, You've Got Mail).
